PHILANTHROPY

Alfredo J. Molina arrived in Chicago in January of 1967 as a Cuban refugee. He has devoted his life to the service of others and continues to strive to live a life of significance every day. His business and generous heart fuel his philanthropy on a daily basis. Molina Fine Jewelers has proudly donated time, talent and treasure to more than 300 local and national charitable organizations throughout the last three decades.

"When we arrived in Chicago in the middle of winter, we had nothing but the tropical clothing on our backs. We were given shelter at the Wilson Hotel by Catholic Charities. We met a fellow Cuban in the lobby who took us to a grocery store and bought us food and warm clothing. I don’t know the name of that stranger or what he did for a living, but that random act of kindness inspires me today”
